The primary responsibility of the MD3 entails implementing projects by dividing the main contract’s scope (client contract) among multiple subcontractors and managing their work in accordance with their contracts and work intersections, ensuring compliance with the main contract’s requirements. As these tasks are inherently project management-related, it is evident that the company’s core business process revolves around project management. Some of the key activities carried out in the MD3 Project Management System include:
– Establishing “excellence in project management” as one of the company’s strategic themes in 2009
– Compiling an internal project management methodology based on the PMBOK guideline standard in 2010
– Implementing the Project Management Methodology in a pilot project in 2015
– Conducting project management courses for all staff, totaling more than 1000 hours
– Assessing the maturity of project management at various stages using the OPM3 model
– Developing a procedure to measure project success
– Creating a project management portal on the company’s intranet, containing relevant information, reports, news, and documentation
– Providing project management training for new staff
– Continuously improving project management methodology, project management processes, and related procedures and guidelines.
