Construction of Thermal power plant such as gas power plant, is one of the main activity of MD3. This company have built 6 Gas power plant in Iran and overseas with different capacities (from 30 MW TO 1000 MV) which all of them are under operation.
In order to improve efficiency and increase productivity, F-Class Gas Turbine which has twenty years history in the world and could reach the half of power plant equipment’s market share in Europe by the end of Second millennium, this generation of turbine has been remarkably considered by Iran government in recent years. In March 2016 due to Iran Power minister and Germany Economy & Energy minister meeting, an agreement was signed between Mapna Group and Siemens Co. whereby Mapna Group will have been able to manufacture F-Class Gas Turbine (SGT5-4000F) through technology Transfer. SGT5-4000F Turbine is one of the most advanced and most reliable F-Class Gas Turbine in world and is able to produce 307 MW electricity (In ISO condition) with 40.1% Thermal efficiency. MD3 has the honor to build the first F-Class Gas Turbine Power Plant in Bandar Abbas.
