Damavand Power and Steam Generation Plant was inaugurated by President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Hassan Rouhani
The first phase of a Damavand Petrochemical Power and Steam Generation Plant was inaugurated by President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Hassan Rouhani on September 04, 2018.
This plant produce 650 MW power and steam for the daily consume of Petrochemical Complexes, located in the phase ll of the Pars Special Economic Zone Petrochemical Complex in Assalouyeh. Damavand Petrochemical Company is the client of the project and execution of the project was carried out by MAPNA Group led by MAPNA Special Projects Construction & Development Company (MD-3).
The opening ceremony was attended by CEO Mohammad Hossein Miri and a team of senior executives of Mapna Special Projects Construction & Development Company (MD-3).
Dr. Hassan Rouhani, visited the Assaluyeh on Tuesday, September 04, 2018, during the opening of the first phase of Damavand Petrochemical Complex and lateral services of the second phase of Assalouyeh, therefore he observed different parts of Damavand Petrochemical Power and Steam Generation Plant, accompanied by related Managers and specialists.
The first phase of Damavand Petrochemical Complex includes a power plant with 12 units of turbine and steam unit, which has a capacity of 650 megawatts of electricity.
In addition to setting up Damavand Petrochemical Power Plant and steam plants, with the utilization of GIS facilities and power transmission substations, it is now possible to supply the necessary electricity to the projects and plans for the construction of petrochemicals in the second phase of Pars Special Area have been provided.
Damavand Complex is built in 90 Hectares area in phase 2 of the Petrochemical Project in Pars Economic Special Economic Zone and natural gas and seawater are the primary inputs of this plant.
