Mapna Special Projects Construction & Development Company (MD-3) received the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) from Damavand Petrochemical Company for units 3 & 4 of Damavand Extension on August 21, 2019.
With final Acceptance delivery of this unit, MAPNA Special Projects Construction & Development Company (MD-3) has now generated an aggregate capacity of 5,448 MWs.
This success was achieved by the uninterrupted follow-up and efforts of all Mapna Group colleagues specially the partners of Mapna Special Projects Construction & Development Company (MD-3).
Damavand Extension is located at Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Assaluyeh, southern Iran, in vicinity of South Pars giant gas field.
Damavand Petrochemical Company is the client of the project and execution of the project is carried out by MAPNA Special Projects Construction & Development Company (MD-3).
The project (Phase II) includes design, construction, procurement, installation, test and commissioning of the equipment, among them two 162-MW turbo generators.​​
